Transfer Station Management
Our customers trust us with the day-to-day operations of their municipal waste transfer stations. We create a comprehensive strategy tailored to the unique characteristics of each customer's location and provide each site with skilled operators to safely streamline the movement of the waste from the transfer station to our long-haul trailers. Solid Waste Hauling and Transportation
Stella maintains a vast network of drivers, trailers and heavy equipment to ensure we have the necessary resources to serve our customers. Our fleet includes both walking floors and tipper trailers, excavators, wheel loaders, and other specialized equipment. The safety of our employees, partners, customers, and public is our number-one priority. Our safety and compliance department has developed a world-class program that focuses on properly training our drivers and continuously educating them on proper procedures. We use technology to enable the real-time monitoring and reporting of driver and vehicle safety and reliability.
Landfill Tipping Operations
We utilize and operate landfill tippers, the most efficient method of unloading landfill waste given their quick cycle times. Tippers are a great way to increase efficiency and ensure the most competitive cost per mile. These portable, yet stable platforms allow gravity to do the work of unloading the waste. Our tippers are designed for easy relocation within the landfill in as little as 15 minutes and are maintained by our maintenance operations to maximize uptime.
Other Hauling Services
At Stella, we try to do all we can to service all of our customers' waste hauling needs. As a result, we maintain numerous industry specific equipment and trained professionals to handle other waste types, including auto fluff, recycling residuals and leachate. Whether our customers have consistent or sporadic loads to move, we will work with them to design schedules and promptly respond to the demands of their business.
